Making the value of the unborn human depend on how wanted they are is a novel postmodern twist

Debates over abortion are frequently polarised – becoming reduced to cliches and furious political invective. But about one in three women in the UK will have an abortion during their reproductive lives: this is not merely an intellectual or theoretical issue, but something which affects everyone of us in some way.
